I have 15 years of experience working in the health & wellness space. I’ve been a registered dietitian since 2008, where I worked for the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Care Systems fresh out of my internship. I eventually moved into community wellness because I had a desire to work with people long-term. I became fascinated with behavior change and understanding how to get clients to implement healthy habits.

In the beginning of 2013, I became a certified health coach for Cleveland Clinic Wellness. Body Aligned erinRDN LLC launched in 2021. I continue to grow and develop my skills with continuing educational experiences. Being an ACE certified group fitness instructor, as well as a Nationally Board Certified Health Coach, trained in cognitive behavioral coaching techniques, I am able to provide services beyond nutrition.

My Story

I was caught up in unhealthy diet and exercise patterns for most of my teens & early twenties because media and mainstream messages told me that my weight was my worth. I teetered between obsessively counting every calorie to giving up completely and binge eating. I was tired. I did not want to stay on the same diet and exercise hamster wheel any longer. I wanted something that worked!

One day I had an AHA! Moment.

What I discovered is that my foundation; the emotions, thoughts, motives for why I dieted, and the community I surrounded myself with were shaky and not supportive. The reason I continued to struggle with eating, exercise and creating a true healthy lifestyle was because I was trying to build upon a poor foundation of old patterns and habits! I had to start anew by building a NEW foundation. The Body Aligned Method is the strategy I used to create a healthier relationship with food and my body. I want to share it with YOU!
